Jane Whyte
Jane is at the forefront of our team, bringing her unique experience as both the previous Environmental Services Manager and Senior Planner for the Banks Peninsula District Council. Jane brings her extensive knowledge from a variety of planning roles for district councils as well as her own experience offering private consultancy services.
Jane says; “I have worked in a large variety of private and public sector roles, including at the senior management level, which have given me unique insights into the ‘best ways’ of achieving positive outcomes for clients. I have direct experience in all facets of resource management and planning, including strategy, plan making, plan changes, resource consents, decision making, consultation and community engagement.”
This experience, alongside the skills and knowledge Jane has gained since launching her early ‘Planning And Resource Management Practice’ in 1992, has given her the confidence and ability to create effective solutions for all projects including policy development, resource planning and practice.
Jane facilitates and negotiates successful outcomes for projects by utilising her considerable experience in communications with government officials, district and regional Councils, members of the Environment Court, politicians, committees, project managers and other specialist consultants and decision makers.
